About Mrs. Gostomski

My name is Elizabeth Gostomski and I will be your student's teacher for this year.  I graduated with my teaching degree from Central Michigan University.  I am certified to teach students with cognitive impairments (all grades), general education K-5 and have an Early Childhood endorsement.  While at Central, I was able to pursue an American Sign Language minor and am now conversationally fluent.  I received my Master's in the Art of Teaching students with learning disabilities from Madonna University, and completed self-taught classes in reading and writing Grade 1 and Grade 2 Braille.
I have been involved with the Livonia Public School District in many ways.  My sisters and I are all graduates from Livonia Public Schools (Go Spartans!).  This will be my eighth year teaching with LPS and I have worked with them for nine.
My husband and I live in Livonia with our newborn son, Gavin, and our two cats.  I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, spending time outdoors, reading and traveling.  During the summer, I spend my time as the Executive Director for O.U.R. Camp, a day-camp for young children with special needs.
I look forward to working and learning with your student in the upcoming year.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at egostoms@livoniapublicschools.org.
