The students may bring in two healthy snacks each day. The students can have one snack in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Examples of healthy snacks: fresh fruit (grapes, apples, bananas, strawberries, oranges), peanut butter crackers, goldfish, dry cereal, graham crackers, pretzels, raisins, fresh veggies (no dip please), granola bars, cereal bars, bagels, cheese, yogurt, etc.

Examples of unacceptable snacks: candy, chips, chocolate, donuts, cookies, juice boxes, fruit roll-ups, Doritos, Cheetos, etc.

Water Bottles

Water bottles are allowed in the classroom. Research has shown that drinking water frequently helps increase the ability for the brain to learn. Students are only allowed to drink WATER. Gatorade, juice, pop, etc. is not allowed, unless it is provided for your child with our school breakfast program. Please label the bottle with your child's name. Also, remind your child to periodically bring it home to be cleaned.
