Welcome to Second Grade!
Our class is busy becoming great second grade
readers, writers, word wizards, mathematicians, and scientists!
I'm Ms. Banner and I have loved teaching second grade at Kennedy for the last 7 years.
My family has made Livonia our home for 26 years.
In my spare time, I love to read, do a little gardening, and spend time at the beach.
I look forward to being partners in your children's learning!
- Money to school: Please put ALL money in an envelope or zip-lock bag with your child's name, teacher name, amount of money, and purpose of the money (lunch $, field trip, book order, etc.).
- Pizza Day - Tuesdays: student must bring $1 cash for an extra slice of pizza on Pizza Day.
- Math Home Links - math homework is done every day and kept in the Communication folder.
- Birthday Celebrations: Please, no food items to share at school. Instead, students may bring a nonfood trinket, pencils, stickers, etc. to pass out. Your child will get a Birthday Visor and Card from classmates and teacher and a card from Mrs. Nowak and enjoy a birthday celebration with Dr. Daniels during their birthday month.
- No Toys Brought to School, please. Thank you.
